Lesira Kpea, a junior at Buckeye Union High School, is thrilled to be serving on the
Arizona FBLA state office team this 2024-25 year. It all started when I attended the 2022-23
regional conference my freshman year, this experience hooked me into the pool of business and
led me to attend multiple events following that conference in addition to Nationals, Leadership
Camp, and FLEX. From this, I had grown fond of the FBLA community which allowed me to
become Vice President of Social Media within my chapter and then proceed to serve on the
President’s council which resulted in my decision to run for state office. Outside of FBLA, I am a
big trivia fanatic, playing games like Wordle and Jeopardy and even tuning in to Family Feuds
from time to time. Additionally, I enjoy reading and watching movies of various genres with my
friends and family. Ultimately, my biggest goal in life is to ensure healthy change in people and
help create a positive change within the community, and I believe FBLA will allow me to do this.
Being in FBLA showed me that I can public speak, present like a businesswoman, and thrive off
of the self-confidence I developed from my experiences to become a better person. Within this
term, I plan to push towards healthy change to ensure success and inflict positive progression
towards goals for not only members but for the future of FBLA.
